Penn State: 1000 Youth in Line to Vote at 7am

Almost 1000 students in line to vote by 7am.

In New Hampshire, Power Vote organizers reported students lining up to vote at 4:30am.

The youth vote (18-30 year old) is 44 million strong and likely to make up 25% of the electorate today.

It's a powerful national voice that is demanding green jobs and clean energy to reinvigorate and re-power our economy, and the securing of our climate to ensure we have a safe, healthy future for ourselves and our children.

Directors of youth-focused organizations such as Campus Progress, Rock the Vote, Power Vote, Sierra Student Coalition, and dozens of others are going to be monitoring the youth vote (and the youth "green" vote) all day at Rock the Vote in Washington, DC and reporting back...
