'People Like Us': Chris Pine And Elizabeth Banks Are Tangled Up In Blue (VIDEO)

WATCH: Pine & Banks Are Family In 'People Like Us'

Chris Pine and Elizabeth Banks play brother and sister in "People Like Us," only she doesn't know they're brother and sister. That's at least part of the drama in the new film -- co-written by Jody Lambert and popular screenwriters Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci ("Star Trek," "Transformers"), and directed by Kurtzman -- which focuses on Sam (Pine), a man who finds out about the half-sister he never knew (Banks) after the death of their father.

The story holds a lot of personal history for Kurtzman: he met his own half-sister and half-brother at age 30.

“[M]eeting my half-sister was a life-changing experience,” he told the New York Times. “It continues to be.”

In honor of Visit Your Relative Day, Disney and DreamWorks have released a new clip from the drama exclusively to HuffPost Entertainment. Above, watch Pine, Banks and newcomer Michael D’Addario enjoy crabs, digital cameras and Bob Dylan.

Starring Pine, Banks, Michelle Pfeiffer, Olivia Wilde, Mark Duplass, Jon Favreau and Philip Baker Hall, "People Like Us" is out in theaters on June 29.
