Phil Robertson, 'Duck Dynasty' Star, Continues To Preach Hate

WATCH: 'Duck Dynasty' Star Just Can't Keep His Mouth Shut About Gays

He really just won't stop!

Notoriously anti-gay "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson is at it again, spewing hate and anti-gay rhetoric in what seems to be an attempt to explain his past homophobic comments.

Speaking at the Rock the South festival in Cullman, Alabama, over the weekend, Robertson defended his controversial comments made in a GQ profile last year when he said that being gay was a sin and compared homosexuality to bestiality.

In this latest tirade Robertson claims that he was really just “trying to help those poor souls and turn them to Jesus.”

Robertson also encouraged the audience to register to vote, claiming "Alabama, whatever you do, register to vote for this presidential election! Go vote for the House and the Senate, too. Vote this ungodly bunch out of Washington, D.C!”

After his initial anti-gay comments in his GQ profile last December, Robertson was temporarily suspended from the A&E but was eventually reinstated. Other anti-gay comments made by Robertson have since come to light including a sermon that claimed "[Gays are] full of murder, envy, strife, hatred. They are insolent, arrogant, God-haters. They are heartless, they are faithless, they are senseless, they are ruthless."
