For the last installation, CamLab will use money as material in a large-scale hands-on group exchange. Longtime "economicalists," members of CamLab will facilitate the creation of a pop-up micro-economy. Visitors can participate or observe. This event is free and no reservations are required.

"Proof" Night: Exploring the Rise of Printmaking in Southern California
Norton Simon Museum (Pasadena)
6:30-8:30 p.m.
Take a closer look at the exhibition "Proof: The Rise of Printmaking in Southern California" before it closes on April 2, 2012. The evening includes Associate Curator Leah Lehmbeck's introduction to the development of the exhibition, gallery educators leading 25-minute discussions revolving around printmaking techniques, and art-making activities in which both children and adult visitors are able to create original works of art. Ellsworth Kelly Selects: Playtime
LACMA (Miracle Mile)

Ellsworth Kelly's six-year sojourn to Paris on the G.I. Bill, from 1948 to 1954, constituted his most formative period. The three films in this program, selected by Kelly, show his debt to a Parisian avant-garde sensibility and reflect his skeptical, unsentimental eye. The first film being screened is Jacques Tati's modernist "Playtime." The film will be screened in 70mm.
SATURDAY, MARCH 3
Art as Appetizer
Pasadena Museum of California Art (Pasadena)

The PMCA will host Border Grill, Casablanca Truck, Flat Iron Truck, Gourmet Genie, and GO CHEW food trucks as part of the "Art as an Appetizer" program for Pacific Standard Time creating dishes inspired by L.A. RAW. Enjoy a day of art and food.
A Fear of Paranoia: A Brief Video Program
