Pledge 24 In 2010: Cynthia Nixon Joins WE TV's Volunteer Campaign

We wants you to volunteer at least 24 hours in 2010 as part of their latest campaign. Of course, giving is its own reward, but to sweeten the pot, they're giving a "grand prize winner" a two-day trip to New York, with dinner at a trendy restaurant and a $200 shopping spree at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Yesterday, "Sex And The City" star Cynthia Nixon signed on to be We's spokesperson for the Pledge 24 in 2010 campaign. Nixon's 24 hours will be spent volunteering for Alliance for Quality Education, a group that seeks to provide high quality public education for all children.

The PSAs are themed "What a Difference a Day Makes," and seek to encourage women to become active, thoughtful, public advocates, with Cynthia Nixon as the example.
