'Private Practice': Amelia Takes Center Stage, Contemplates Love And Her Future (VIDEO)

Shonda Rhimes took an episode during this final season of "Private Practice" to give Amelia some attention. Particularly, she turned the spotlight on her love life. And it looks like things are going to be all right for her and Dr. James Peterson.

"Sometimes, all signs point one way, but sometimes you just have to get in your car and drive and forget what you know what failing looks like," she said to James. It was just a longer way for her to say that she loved him, too.

CarterMatt said the episode was Rhimes tying up a loose end before the series comes to an end. Their writer went on to say that it was even more surprising and rare that Rhimes appears to have given Amelia and James a happy ending, with the emotional tools necessary to navigate the normal terrain of life as a couple.
