When you come to an interactive conference you don't expect to be talking to start-ups about books. So I was pretty intrigued when I got introduced to a young founder doing just that.

With an appreciation for the beauty not only of the written word but also book design, Henrick Berggren, founder of Readmill, is looking to recreate the ebook experience by making it more beautiful and engaging. Rather than replicating a physical book on a digital device, he and his team thought about what a digital book should be.

I wish all engineers put design first.
