Why Rita Ora Doesn't Mind Those Rihanna Comparisons

"At least it's not like being compared to Shrek or something."

Rita Ora isn't taking offense to those Rihanna and Tinashe comparisons.

"At least they're great artists," she told HuffPost Live on Friday. "At least it's not like being compared to Shrek or something."

It comes down to confidence for the "Body On Me" pop star, who's able to call herself a "huge fan" of Rihanna's even after the New York Post reduced her to being just a "blonde" version of the songstress.

"If you feel like you're secure in yourself, it doesn't even matter who you get compared to," Ora explained. "Everyone new ... whoever they are, gets compared to somebody when they first start."

"I'm my own person," she continued. "I've always been my own person. I'm from a little town -- I'm from London. I love to sing. I love to do my own thing, and that's all I do. I just focus on my own thing."
