Ritter Faces Rude Reception From Protestors, Public Officials In Grand Junction

GRAND JUNCTION -- Gov. Bill Ritter received an unprecedented noisy, nasty welcome at a Club 20 meeting Saturday as one protester outside the meeting repeatedly yelled, "Ritter stinks" and others waved signs referring to Nazis, health care death panels and tyranny.

A seemingly unfazed Ritter paused to shake hands and chat with one group of protesters before he made his way inside the Two Rivers Convention Center. There he used the bullhorn-assisted shouting outside as a leadership lesson for a group of Boy Scouts.
