Rob Lowe seems to be ageless. And we have an inkling as to how he's pretty much looked the same since "St. Elmo's Fire."
The 51-year-old actor recently spoke with Yahoo! Beauty about Profile, his skincare brand for men and the secret to success for his nearly 25-year-marriage.
"I've never been happier. I've never felt better. I've never had better relationships. I've never felt more understood," Lowe said, of life after turning 50 last year.
And he's certainly never looked better.
Years of sitting in a makeup chair, not to mention a marriage to a makeup artist, led Lowe to create the skincare line.
"I want to make it clear, I don’t come to this naturally. I’m like any other dude," Lowe told People in a recent interview. "The only reason I know anything about the value of it is because people have been doing it for me since I was 15 years old. I’m 51 now. There’s a reason I look the way I look."
Lowe's favorite product is the eye cream, which, he says, is the one must-have product for men. It helps to refresh tired-looking eyes, whether you're getting off a plane, have a long day or need to look good for a date.
As for staying young mentally, Lowe says it's all about staying sharp. "Anyone who stops learning is on the way to going out."
Lowe, a self-professed adrenaline junkie, stays sharp by being up for anything physical -- whether it's hiking, biking, doing pushups on the beach or going for a swim in the ocean. Perhaps that's why we won't see him sporting a "dadbod" anytime soon.
