Robert Blake & Piers Morgan Tiff: Actor Goes Off On Host (VIDEO)

WATCH: Robert Blake Loses It On Piers Morgan

Actor Robert Blake went off on Piers Morgan after the CNN host suggested Blake wasn't honest about the circumstances of his wife's death.

Morgan was pressing Blake on the details surrounding Bonny Lee Bakley's 2001 death and insisted that he just "wanted to get to the truth." Then Blake went off and repeatedly asked Morgan if the host believed he was lying. Morgan consistently said that he does not know if Blake was being honest, at which point Blake paused to gather himself.

"I don't want to take this any place special," he continued. "All I want ... OK, let me say it this way. My skin is a little bit thin, which is why I stay away from people mostly. I've never allowed anybody to ask me the questions that you're asking me. I allowed you to do that because I trust you. And I would have assumed that you and that guy in your ear would trust me. And if you don't, then we better starting talking about 'The Little Rascals.'"

Blake was charged in the murder of Bakley, who he described Wednesday as a "con artist." He was acquitted in the trial, but lost a 2008 civil suit that found him liable in Bakley's wrongful death. He was ordered to pay $15 million (the prosecuting attorney said at the time that interest added to the payment would bring it to about $24 million).

The "In Cold Blood" and "Baretta" actor was on the show to promote his new memoir. The full interview airs Thursday on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight." Watch the confrontation above.
