'Turn Out For What:' Lil Jon Has Got The Beat To Make Your Booty Go Vote

If "turn down for what" is a rhetorical question about why one would cease partying, "turn out for what" represents the calculation about how to motivate oneself to vote in the midterm elections this fall.

Or at least that's the message in Rock the Vote's latest video, released Tuesday, starring Lil Jon. In it, the rapper modifies the phrase from his YouTube hit with over 120 million views for the nonpartisan voter mobilization group.

"The work that Rock The Vote does is incredible," Lil Jon said in a statement. "It's cool for me to collab with such an iconic organization."

The spot features stars from "Portlandia," "Girls," "Glee" and "Orange is the New Black" talking about the issues that they're passionate about, ranging from from reproductive rights to prison reform.

"Girls" creator Lena Dunham, who has been promoting Democratic women candidates on her book tour, is characteristically pantless as she dances outside a voting booth, while comedian Fred Armisen, outfitted in plaid, says he's voting because he "wants to impress his friends, that's the only reason to ever do anything."
