Rodney Harrison: Rob Gronkowski 'Disrespected Himself' After Super Bowl Loss

Former Patriot Bashes Partying Patriot

Even a casual football fan could have seen this one coming from a mile away. A day after a video surfaced of Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski partying at a club after his team's Super Bowl loss, a former Patriot took exception to his behavior and lashed out on the radio.

Rodney Harrison, a member of the Patriots when they lost to the Giants in the 2008 Super Bowl, went on ESPN Chicago Radio 1000 and said Gronkowski "disrespected himself" by taking off his shirt and dancing at a party after the game.

"When we lost the Super Bowl, any of my Super Bowl losses, I was so devastated the last thing I ever wanted to do was party, let alone dance or take off your shirt," Harrison said. "It's just immaturity. It's not right. He made a mistake and I'm sure he feels absolutely stupid about it at this point. There's a time and place for everything."

Currently an analyst with NBC, Harrison went as far as to say that if any of his ex-teammates were at party, then Gronkowski "probably would have got his head rung."

Of course, one of Harrison's former teammates, veteran offensive lineman Matt Light, was also at the party. Light was videotaped dancing with his shirt off. Harrison said he was "surprised" by Light's presence.

According to the Boston Herald, more than half the team attended the party. Among those who reportedly did not attend were Tom Brady, Wes Welker, Chad Ochocinco and Deion Branch.
