Romney: Joe The Plumber Better Than Colin Powell

Neil Cavuto's interview with Mitt Romney today was largely unremarkable in the annals of campaign shillery, save for one moment where Cavuto asked Romney to compare having the support of Joe the Plumber to that of General Colin Powell:

CAVUTO: If you had your druthers and could pick between Colin Powell or Joe the Plumber, who would you pick?

ROMNEY: Joe the Plumber, there's a lot more of them, but you want them all. I do not want to minimize Colin Powell. It means a great deal to those who listen to him and follow him, but most people follow their own heart and their own assessment of what is in their best interest. That Joe the Plumber allegory, if you will, is a story that can be told by many people in this country who hoped to build their own business some day and be successful. They are not wild about an idea that suggest the president would take away their income and redistribute it to people who do not pay taxes.

Even that isn't that remarkable of an exchange, but it did generate the best chyron Fox has run all day.

It raises the question: shouldn't the plural form of "Joe The Plumber" be "JOES the Plumber?" That's something for you to consider, while I go about figuring out how America got by with just the ONE Thomas Jefferson.
