Ryan Scott To Open New Restaurant In West Portal

Top Chef To Open West Portal Resto

Is Myth Cafe finally back?!?!

According to Grubstreet, Top Chef fans can soon get their fill when Ryan Scott opens shop at his new brick and mortar restaurant in West Portal, to be modeled after Myth Cafe.

Since closing his extremely popular Myth Cafe in 2008, the former TV contestant has been keeping his faithful fans on the run with catering, cooking classes, food truck and guest appearances in SF restos. It’s really worked up our appetite.

But as reported by SFGate, Scott has dibs on the former Bay Shabu Sake space at 68 West Portal Avenue. The new spot is yet-to-be-named but will feature healthy, fresh, grab-and-go-food in a more polished environment. It's set to open this winter.

While Scott is an advocate for healthy eats, he's not afraid to get down on some more formidable digs like his Super Bowl artichoke parm dip or chorizo casserole. Long story short: we're ready for winter.
