'Human Barbie' Mom Bringing Daughter To Compete In US Pageants

Parents on "Toddlers & Tiaras" might have a new pageant mom in their midst.

Sarah Burge, a British woman known as the "Human Barbie," wants her daughter, Poppy, to break into the US pageant scene, Socialite Life reports.

After taking part in a series of pageants in the UK, the 8-year-old is set to join her first American competition in Atlanta this month.

Burge, who has confessed to giving plastic surgeons instructions during her own procedures, has made headlines in recent months for giving her young daughter vouchers for liposuction and breast augmentations that she can redeem once she turns 18.

So far, mom has invested about $30,000 in Poppy's new endeavor, and she's confident her daughter will beat out the competition.

"Poppy is outgoing and outrageous and we will beat the American children," Burge told Socialite Life. "She is in training for the American events up to four hours a day before and after school.”

But at least one pageant pro isn't looking forward to the pair's presence on stage.

"She is not going to win anything," Andrew Sullivan, Eden Wood’s publicist, told Radar Online.

The publicist also had a special message for Burge herself: "We have enough crazies that frequent our events now. Please stay across the Pond."

Still, Mommyish blogger Koa Beck isn't convinced Burge is all that different from parents already featured on shows like "Toddlers & Tiaras."

She writes:

Eight hours a day of “pretty feet,” heavy makeup application, and sexualizing routines suggest that perhaps Sarah will fit right in with the other momagers, and her daughter too –unfortunately.
