Although young Polish artist Milena Korolczuk is best known for her works in film, she has recently turned to a more unconventional medium: Wonderbread. Over the past few months, the Oakland-based artist has taken to sculpting portraits of luminaries from history, pop culture, art and literature from the spongy substance -- the record of her idle hands as she contemplates influence and inspiration over her morning breakfast.
