If rumors are to be believed, it's clear Selena Gomez has a "type" -- male pop stars, that is.
Us Weekly reports that Gomez, 21, is "seeing" Austin Mahone, 17, after being set up by their mutual pal Taylor Swift.
"They're seeing each other," a source close to Mahone told the magazine, while a second source said they are trying to keep the new relationship quiet for now. Apparently, the pair was spotted leaving the Beats Music concert separately on Jan. 24, but then they got into the same car.
A source close to Gomez denies Us Weekly's report, telling HuffPost Celebrity it's "not true," but it's not the first time Gomez has been linked to the baby-faced singer, who is still in his teens. This past June, the pair was photographed at Disneyland in California together, sparking rumors that they were more than friends.
Since calling it quits with Justin Bieber last year, Gomez has been linked to a number of young men, including Ed Sheeran, Hunter Hayes, and George Shelley, but the former Disney star is the first to tell you the boys haven't been lining up for her.
"I actually talked to Katy Perry about guys who are intimidated by strong girls," Gomez recently revealed in an interview with Seventeen magazine. "I haven't found someone yet who could understand my lifestyle, support it, love me through it and not be threatened by it. It's hard."
