Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber Split: Starlet Is 'Having A Lot Of Fun,' Feeling 'More Sassy'

Selena Gomez Says She Is 'Having A Lot Of Fun' After Justin Bieber Split

Selena Gomez isn't letting a Justin Bieber breakup bring her down.

Gomez revealed that she is "having a lot of fun" and feeling "more sassy" now that she is a single lady.

"I'm good. I'm really good," the 20-year-old told E! News at her Nylon magazine cover party on Tuesday. "I've been recording, having a lot of fun with my girlfriends, having a good time."

These days, the former Disney star is also feeling a bit different.

"I've been telling people I'm definitely a little bit more sassy now," she told E! News. "I'm a little bit more mouthy." Later adding, "I think people are used to seeing me in a certain way. I think it will be a little shocking for people, but in a good way. The movie as a whole is a lot to take in, and I've definitely expressed that to my younger fans."

Gomez boldly sang "Cry Me A River" and "I Knew You Were Trouble" at a UNICEF concert this month, her first performance in over a year. Many assumed the songs were directed at Bieber, who crooned his own rendition of "Cry Me A River" after their first split in November.

The "Spring Breakers" star has been tweeting some sexy photos from inside the studio. MTV News describes the upcoming album, set to drop this year, as a "confessional album."

"I think for me it was actually interesting to see that towards the middle of me recording my record, a big turn happened to me and it was incredible to see how I applied that to music because I've never done that before and it's great," Gomez, who didn't specifically mention the Bieber breakup, told MTV News. "I think the older I'm getting the more I'm just kind of like I'm cool to share my side of the stories as much as I can, so I'm having a lot of fun."
