Shailene Woodley Wishes She Made A Better Face In Her Mugshot

The actress opened up about the viral photo on "The Late Show."

Shailene Woodley isn’t ashamed of her mugshot, but she does wish she was a little more prepared for it.

The actress, who was arrested last October while protesting the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) in Sioux County, North Dakota, addressed the photo during her appearance on “The Late Show” Monday night.

Woodley admitted to host Stephen Colbert that she wished she’d known the photo of her in an orange jumpsuit “was going to be as public as it was.”

“I would have made a face,” she said. “I feel like I’m just looking at the person like, ‘Are you kidding me right now?’”

The actress then spoke more about the protest at Standing Rock and her own participation, which is now more focused on showing people that “the front lines don’t necessarily have to be in North Dakota. The front lines can be wherever you are.”
