A company hoping to reopen the Pride of the West Mill north of Silverton says it has secured $1 million from a private investor.
Colorado Goldfields, based in Lakewood, had been having difficulty finding investors since August 2008, said company Chief Financial Officer Stephen Guyer, when the "world economy turned upside-down."
