A major snowfall means... a major snowball fight.
An epic battle broke out on the University of British Columbia’s Vancouver campus Monday, as hundreds of students pelted each other with snowballs for more than half an hour.
“You almost never get snow around here, especially in February, so it’s great,” student Sydney Francis, told CBC News.
Students organized the fight via Facebook over the weekend, after the area was blanketed with 14 inches of snow.
“It’s February and we’ve got snow!! (hopefully until Monday morning),” they wrote. “So let’s take advantage and have an amazing, massive, and Oh so Canadian campus-wide snowball fight!”
They certainly did that.
