Chobani's New Sriracha Yogurt Is One Delicious Step Too Far

Prepare your 'buds for a zesty ride.

Sriracha and Greek yogurt? Some may call it crazy.

We call it brilliant.

Greek yogurt purveyor Chobani is introducing a wild lineup of new flavors, including Sriracha Mango and Chipotle Pineapple. And while it may seem like the sriracha frenzy has gotten out of hand, these are actually some of the most deliciously genius combos we've ever laid eyes on:

Chobani's Chipotle Pineapple is a pineapple yogurt that comes with a pod of "mix-ins" including chipotle granola, smoked almonds and pumpkin seeds. Sriracha Mango is a mango yogurt with sriracha-coated rice crisps, sesame sticks and cashew pieces. (Contrary to what you may think, there is no sriracha in the actual yogurt.)

The flavors, along with other "limited-batch" and new varieties, are making their way into grocery stores this week, a Chobani spokesperson told HuffPost.

Some of our editors were brave enough to take the (spoon) plunge... and the results were surprisingly delicious.

"You'd think sriracha yogurt would have streams of goo inside it," one editor noted. "But it doesn't. This is really, really good."

Greek yogurt has seen a whole host of savory spins lately, many thanks to its ability to function as a healthy snack with plenty of protein and less sugar and sodium than regular yogurt.

Chobani has been sampling savory yogurt combinations like Pepper, Harissa + Feta at its NYC store for some time now.

We can't wait to see what comes next.
