'Stand Up Guys' Video: Al Pacino, Christopher Walken & Alan Arkin Go For A Ride

WATCH: First Clip From 'Stand Up Guys'

"Stand Up Guys" is being billed as an action-comedy, but don't think the new film is like the usual films you associated with that genre. After all, it stars not one, not two, but three former Academy Award winners: Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and Alan Arkin.

The three stars appear in this new clip from "Stand Up Guys," which is debuting exclusively here at HuffPost Entertainment. Pacino stars as Val, a former small-time crook out of jail after serving 28 years in prison; Walken is Doc, Val's best friend, who gets stuck behind a rock and a hard place; Arkin is Hirsch, a now-retired third amigo. Per the Lionsgate synopsis of the film, "despite their age, their capacity for mayhem is still very much alive and well -- bullets fly as they make a hilariously valiant effort to compensate for the decades of crime, drugs and sex they’ve missed."

Lionsgate is releasing "Stand Up Guys" for a limited Oscar-qualifying run in New York and Los Angeles on Dec. 14. (Bon Jovi, who wrote two songs for the film, is on the short list of possible Best Original Song nominees.) The film opens nationwide on Feb. 1, 2013.
