Here's What Members Of Congress Would Spend Their Powerball Winnings On

Lots of creativity here for $1.5 billion.

When lawmakers descended upon the Capitol for the State of the Union, HuffPost asked the real question on everybody's minds: How would they spend $1.5 billion in Powerball winnings?

From going skiing to donating to charity, members of Congress couldn't quite decide what they'd do if they won all that money.

Rep. Pete Sessions (R-Texas) told a HuffPost reporter he'd pay to send the two of them to the Caribbean together.

Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) said he'd pay the next month of his son's tuition.

But for Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) the answer was clear: "I don't run for president."

He added, "I won $12. Well, I spent $50, so I’m still $38 in the hole."
