Oprah Endorses 'Rally To Restore Sanity And/Or Fear' (VIDEO)

Last night on "The Daily Show," Jon Stewart was paid a surprise visit by Stephen Colbert who convinced him to combine the "Rally To Restore Sanity" with his "March To Keep Fear Alive" into one epic event now dubbed "The Rally To Restore Sanity And/Or Fear."

Colbert suprised Stewart by appearing from underneath a green-screen cloth he had been hiding under in the back of the set during Stewart's first segment. He told Stewart how he had failed to acquire the right permits to hold his "March To Keep Fear Alive" on the D.C. mall, and pleaded with him to merge the events.

Of course, Stewart obliged, and Colbert immediately said Stewart had made "the biggest mistake of [his] life" before announcing the new name: The Rally To Restore Sanity And/Or Fear.

If that wasn't a big enough announcement, Oprah Winfrey also dropped by the show via satellite and announced she had hidden tickets to the rally in Washington D.C. under all the audience members' chairs.

"Just for the record," Colbert said to Stewart. "Your rally is supposed to be about sanity, and that was insane!"

Later, on "The Colbert Report," Colbert re-confirmed the "Daily Show" announcement, and even tried to one-up Oprah by giving all of his audience members tickets to the rally (albeit on a Chinatown bus.)

Check out both announcements in the clips below and tell us what you think about the merger in the comments!
