Do you find that when you order wine you often stick to the same varietals you already know and love? It's hard to branch out of your comfort zone but it can be made easier if you start with wines that are similar to the ones you are already drinking.

Dustin Wilson, a Master Sommelier and Wine Director for New York's Eleven Madison Park, has a few ideas to make even the most die-hard devotee feel comfortable. He looked at chardonnay, pinot grigio, cabernet sauvignon and pinot noir to get the best choices of similar but interesting types of wine.
