It was an impossible task. Get together the million selling lead singer of Snap! Thea Austin, who is often out touring singing one of her 20 #1 singles including "Rhythm Is A Dancer;" Morgan Mallory, in demand live artist, new album "Manifesto" out and now the former Voice contestant is a vocal teacher; Daniel Charleston, in demand in Southern California for his chorus performances and as a featured artist in Pacific Opera Project; and me, the big gay entertainer and talk show host with a dream to sing about being better.

It was after Michelle Obama's speech that I had to write the song. It was what I could do, and she said do something. The lyrics taken directly from the headlines:

Stronger Together
by Karel and Morgan Mallory
With Thea Austin and Daniel Charleston

Stronger, We are Stronger Together (come along and join with me)
Stronger, We are stronger together (don't fear diversity)
Stronger, We are Stronger together (come along and join with me)
Stronger, We are stronger together (try to reach some harmony)

When they go low, we go high (Karel)
Lift our voices to the sky (Morgan)
We must remember what keeps us strong (Karel)
We've been living in the dark for much to long (Morgan)

Stronger, We are Stronger Together (come along and join with me)
Stronger, We are stronger together (don't fear diversity)
Stronger, We are Stronger together (come along and join with me)
Stronger, We are stronger together (try to reach some harmony)

If you interrupt then you cannot hear (Daniel)
There's no room for hope in your world of fear (Karel)
A bully's loud, doesn't make them right (Karel)
and their darkness fades so bring the light (Thea)

To be with me, I must say yes (Thea)
Respect me please do not regress (Thea)
Why not embrace, don't build up walls (Thea)
Because in time they'll always fall. (Thea)

Stronger, We are Stronger Together (come along and join with me)
Stronger, We are stronger together (don't fear diversity)
Stronger, We are Stronger together (come along and join with me)
Stronger, We are stronger together (try to reach some harmony)

It put it all in three minutes.

We finally got everyone together at the Studios at Park Howard (my home where I film my weekly TV show on Free Speech TV, Karel, Life In Segments and do my daily audio Karel Cast) on the Tuesday before the election, November 1st. We didn't really know it, but as we sang until 2am the next morning, we really were dumping our election cycle emotions in to a song.

Morgan Mallory took the vocals and created a rough track in time for election. My dream, to have this out before so we all, no matter who or where, can be reminded that we are stronger together, that respecting each other is key, that diversity is strength and we all have value.

So, for this election day, the first rough mix of something I dreamt about doing, and did.

We are, in fact, stronger together.
