Sunando Sen Dead: Victim In Fatal Subway Push At Queens Train Station Identified

The man fatally pushed in front of an oncoming 7 train Thursday night has been identified as Sunando Sen.

The New York Post reports Sen was from Calcutta, India and had recently opened a business. He was not married.

Police are still searching for the suspect, who witnesses say was seen mumbling and closely following Sen before she suddenly shoved him.

Sen's roommate Md Khan said, "My heart is broken because this guy was so nice and quiet.”

Authorities believe Sen most likely did not see his attacker approach him. NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said, "She was seated alone and then waited until the train came into the station and approached this individual from behind and pushed him in front of the train."

The horrific incident comes just weeks after a 58-year-old man was fatally pushed at a Midtown subway station.

According to reports, the victim, Ki-Suck Han had been in the tracks for as long as 90 seconds before getting struck by the oncoming train.

Police arrested 30-year-old Naeem Davis and charged him with second-degree murder for Han's death.
