Castiel is on his own and adjusting to life as a human on "Supernatural." When we catch up with him, he's got a job at a gas station and a pretty girl who seems into him. Of course, he also appears to be living at the gas station, and the "date" she asked him on didn't go as planned. But that's still all very human.
When a case opened up in the town he'd settled in, Dean dropped by for a visit -- and some last-minute dating advice. It looked like Castiel had prepared for everything, except a complete and total misunderstanding. His boss at work had a date that night, but it wasn't with Cas. She wanted him to babysit.
Buddy TV's John Kubicek said the only thing better than Cas on a date is Cas with a baby. He doesn't now what to do with either, though he did know the theme song to "The Greatest American Hero," which worked to quiet the baby for a bit.
Jensen Ackles told TV Guide that Cas is trying to figure out if he can make it as a human. "I think he feels he failed so desperately as an angel that this is a new beginning for him and he can really start over and look for fulfillment as a human.”
