In late January, I joined the City of New York, focusing on how our citizens and government communicate and work together online. My first step in preparing our strategy is to examine how the public currently uses digital technology to access information, share input, and request services provided by City government.

New Yorkers have responded with vigor across social media channels including Twitter, Quora, Tumblr, and via email.

As I continue my research into how residents access government information and services over the Internet, I would like to invite New Yorkers to complete the following survey, which asks:
