'Swamp People': Dead Alligators' Skin Starts Peeling Off

On "Swamp People" (Thu., 9 p.m. ET on History) Thursday night alligator hunters Clint and Troy ran into an unusual problem.

The dead gators lying on their boat started to bake in the hot sun and, as the mercury climbed to around 108 degrees, their skin started to peel off.

Luckily, help was at hand in the form of a giant cooler that pumped out around 800 pounds of ice each day. As one of the hunters explained, "We gonna ice ‘em down quick, throw ‘em in the truck and get ‘em outta this heat."

"Swamp People" continues on Thursday nights at 9 p.m. ET on History.
