You win some, you lose some. In Taylor Swift's case, after a year of winning seemingly every award imaginable, the singer lost the "Best Song" award to Adele at Sunday night's Golden Globes, and an image of Taylor's disappointed expression went viral seconds afterwards. And if we didn't feel bad enough for her already -- after all, she's just come out of a reportedly major breakup with One Direction's Harry Styles -- Taylor also found herself the target of a Tina Fey joke later in the evening ("Stay away from Michael J. Fox's son!").
But there was one big upside to Taylor's Golden Globes evening: She absolutely dominated the red carpet in an elegant, violet backless gown, and has deservedly made many best-dressed lists circulating after the event.
