Looking for the perfect Promposal? A jumbotron isn't a bad way to go.
Jesse Jacobs is a freshman at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, North Carolina and his girlfriend, Maddy Comito, is a senior at nearby Apex High School. When their first anniversary rolled around, Comito decided to buy Jacobs tickets to a basketball game between North Carolina State and Syracuse.
To Comito's surprise, Jacobs had something planned as well, as first reported by local news station ABC 11. He contacted a friend who happens to be the son of the manager of the PNC Arena, where the game took place. Then, during a break in the game, Jacobs told Comito to look up at the jumbotron.
It read, "Jesse Jacobs would like to ask Maddy Comito to the 2015 Apex HS Prom."
“Honestly it kind of just came to me. I was like ‘How cool would that be, if I could do that for her at the last game of the season?'” Jacobs told ABC 11.
As for Comito, she was incredibly surprised and can't wait for prom on May 2.
"I am so excited for prom. We are already finding out who we are going to go with and all the other details that go along with it," she told The Huffington Post. "We didn't get to go together to his senior prom last year because of club volleyball commitments I had. So it means a lot that we are able to go together this year. You could say I've been waiting to go to prom with him for a year now!"
Well if that isn't the cutest thing, we don't know what is.
