Last month, I joined the TEDxNavesink speakers series on makers, at Monmouth University. I looked back on the pain and resilience of three homeless teenagers I've befriended over the past two decades and shared how their lives taught me the meaning of home.

In many respects, especially the last ten seconds of this talk, it was the hardest and most personal speech I've ever given. But no regrets here, and I hope you'll take a look!
