With spring cleaning, many people may find that they surround themselves with furniture where there is really a need for love. Consider your furniture's feelings. You will realize your furniture has a voice. When you listen to it, you will recognize a sense of Being. If it does, keep it and if it doesn't, discard it. You can even schedule for a charity to pick up your donations for free. Imagine being surrounded only by what you love.
Love is a source of thoughts, intuition, sex, creativity, and in essence, everything. You are the force that allows all the cells in your body to work. Love is the force that allows your cells to communicate. Love is a deep state of Being that arises from within. This Being is when consciousness recognizes itself. It is energy beyond your mind. Feng Shui works with this energy and can even offer practical, common sense advice. With that, there are two types of baguas related to feng shui.
The first is classical Eastern bagua, which uses the compass directions of your birth star to balance the placement of whom you are in the universe based on the time you were born. The second is Western bagua, which reflects eight parts of your life in your floor plan with a map. The map aligns the front door as the entry point and each box corresponds with a different area of your life. The map showcases how energies are interconnected and colors are variations of light. Objects and colors related to the five elements: wood, water, metal, earth, and fire can enhance your area.
Here are some beginning pointers.
• Make your bed first in the morning.
• Place your bed in a command position where you can see the door.
• Do not store things under your bed in order to allow flow.
• If you are trying to attract love, make the bed easily accessible on both sides.
• Hang up family pictures in the family quadrant, but not in the bedroom.
• Do not hang heavy stuff like pots and pans above your head the kitchen as it represents limitations.
• Hang everything up in pairs.
• Plumbing is associated with money, so keep drains plugged and money keeps coming back around.
• Mirrors bring energy up because it reflects stuff around it.
• Represent fortune by placing red cords in the money corner.
• Represent the person you want to become in every room.

Most importantly, it is important to stick with one, as we can be good at anything, but not everything. You could study feng shui for a lifetime and not know everything, but it's also a technique where knowing even a little can make impactful changes immediately.
