The People Of 'Jurassic Park' Inspire An Art Show

This past weekend, LA-based artist Brandon Bird curated a show at LA's Gallery Nucleus ostensibly dedicated to "what people love and remember most about the 'Jurassic Park' film series: the human characters. But in an interview with Fanboy Comics about "The JP Show (Just People)," Bird was more forthcoming:

"My thinking was that it'd be funny to take a movie about cloned dinosaurs and zero in on the most mundane aspect of it (the people)."

And it is, for sure. Feast your eyes on Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and even Julianne Moore, clothed in their best denim. Will denim help them against Tyrannosaurus teeth? Unclear! But until "The JP Show (Just Paleolithic)," comes along to unseat them, the mundane rule the LA art-world food chain. Click through a selection of tributes below.
