The Onion: Best Christmas Articles

'The Onion:' Best Christmas Articles

The most wonderful time of the year is not without it's stressors. Every year we brave unruly mall crowds, hurriedly whip up batches of cookies and re-learn the delicate art of gift wrapping. To top it all off, there are boundless news articles telling us what to buy, who to buy it for and how to stay thin while surrounded by sweets.

But, as always, humor newspaper The Onion offers a satirical spin to lighten the mood. "The Onion Presents: Christmas Exposed" [Quirk Books, $12.95] reports on hot holiday toys (like Gail, "Barbie's friend with a good personality") and "50 Things For Your Sister That Look Like They Might Cost $75 But Are Actually Promotional Items For Opening Credit Cards."
