The Strokes Release 'One Way Trigger,' First Single Off New Album (AUDIO)

LISTEN: New Strokes Song Released

Earlier in January, it was revealed that The Strokes were working on a new album, set for release this year. Friday, the band unveiled the first single from the record, "One Way Trigger," on its website.

Filled with driving guitars and lead singer Julian Casablancas' falsetto, "One Way Trigger" is the first new Strokes track since 2011. In an interesting twist, it was thought the first single from the band's newest album would be "All the Time," a song teased by Seattle radio station 107.7 The End.

"Previewing brand new Strokes [song] 'All the Time,'" wrote "Mike" on The End's Facebook page earlier in January. "Thanks to RCA Records. We'll have to 'leak' this soon. You won't be disappointed."
