'The Voice' Judges Kick Off Season 11 With Powerhouse Performance Of 'Dream On'

Let's be honest -- Miley totally steals the show.

We already know this season of “The Voice” is going to be a good one.

On Sunday night, during a special preview of Season 11, we got a little sneak peek of what to expect, and let’s just say that we’re excited. Off the bat, the preview introduced us to some ridiculously talented teens ― W‎é McDonald and Darby Walker ― before treating us to an awesome performance by the four judges, including the season’s new mentors, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys.

The judges performed a cover of Aerosmith’s “Dream On” and totally nailed it. Keys kicked things off with her powerhouse vocals and before Shelton took over, followed by Levine. As soon as Cyrus stepped onstage, though, belting out the lyrics with her deep, raspy voice, the crowd went wild.

Following the performance, the show also paid tribute to former contestant Christina Grimmie, who was fatally shot in June while signing autographs for fans.

“In loving memory of our friend Christina Grimmie,” read a card at the end of the episode.

“The Voice” Season 11 premiere airs Monday, Sept. 19, at 8 p.m. on NBC.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this post stated Christina Grimmie died in July, not June.
