BLACK VOICES

This Rare Clip Of Prince, Michael Jackson And James Brown Onstage Is Amazing

Rest in power to these three black music legends.

Prince, the music icon who gave us pop classics like "Purple Rain" and "Raspberry Beret" is dead at the age of 57. He was the consummate showman, with a stage presence that often drew comparisons to James Brown and his contemporary, Michael Jackson.

Amazingly, all three music legends once shared a stage in a fascinating performance in 1983, during the "James Brown & Friends" concert at the Beverly Theater in Los Angeles, California. Watch the video (in which Prince makes his entrance riding piggy-back on a body guard) below:

A true legend. Rest in peace.
