Tiger Woods Kicks Club During 2012 Masters Meltdown On 16th Hole (VIDEO)

WATCH: Tiger Woods Melts Down At Masters

Tiger Woods entered the 2012 Masters as the favorite to win the tournament. During a press conference on Wednesday at Augusta National, a confident Woods even told the media that he was "here for the green jacket."

Coming off his first PGA Tour win in 30 months, Woods was back. For real, this time. Right guys?

Maybe not.

On Friday afternoon, Woods had people wondering if he would even make the cut after a handful of misplayed shots and a tantrum at the 16th hole.

After scrapping his way to even par on Day 1 at Augusta, Woods had a nightmarish second round. Despite notching birdies on two of the first three holes on Friday, Woods finished the day with a 3-over 75. The four-time Masters champion let his emotions get the best of him after sending his tee shot into a bunker on the right side of the green on the 16th hole, dropping his club and then kicking it in disgust. Tiger would eventually bogey the hole.

Woods' frustrations had been mounting as he struggled through the back nine. After striking a solid tee shot on 15, he sent his next effort well right into the crowd. Angry with his performance and foreshadowing the tantrum to come, Woods had a profane outburst picked up by the television broadcast.

In case you were wondering, the fan struck by Tiger's wayward shot seemed just fine. In fact, it appears that high fives were exchanged, so "fine" may be an understatement.

Despite his struggles controlling his ball and his emotions, Woods did make the cut and has two rounds to make up the eight shots separating him from the leaders.
