Tiger Woods, Sergio Garcia Share Handshake At U.S. Open Practice (PHOTO)

All Good?

Sergio Garcia and Tiger Woods might be ready to reconcile. At the very least, the golf rivals showed that they can be civil.

In their first face-to-face encounter since Garcia made an offensive "fried chicken" comment about Woods, the pair appeared to share a cordial moment on Monday at the Merion Golf Club.

When asked about the moment, Woods told Bob Harig of ESPN.com "I'm not going there."

The feud between the two golf stars flared up at The Players Championship in May when Garcia accused Woods of distracting him during the third round.

The two continued to trade barbs through the press until Garcia made his offensive fried chicken joke at the European Tour's Players’ Awards dinner in London late last month. Garcia issued an apology shortly making his comments.

However warm the handshake was ahead of the U.S. Open, Woods and Garcia have a long way to go before they'll be as cozy as they were back at the 1999 Masters.
