Timberwolves Harlem Shake Video Mocks Miami Heat (And Clubs The Trend)

WATCH: T-Wolves Batter Heat And The Harlem Shake

For those of you who can't stand this Harlem Shake trend, the Minnesota Timberwolves have just the Harlem Shake video for you.

The video opens with a lone dancer sporting a replica LeBron James jersey and a motorcycle helmet. When the Timberwolves' mascot, Crunch, enters the picture it seems that yet another NBA team's rendition of the trend is about to begin in earnest. The Heat had issued a frenetic and slick version last week. The Denver Nuggets followed shortly with their own iteration, notable for its use of a Predator mask.

But the appearance of Crunch is when things take an unexpected turn. The mascot takes out a club and whacks at the dancer, who hits the deck. Thwack. Thwack. Thwack.

The dancing is done and the screen goes dark to reveal the phrase, in lettering familiar to anyone who follows the NBA, "Some Things Get Old Fast." The video ends with a quick glimpse of T-Wolves center Nikola Pekovic and then the team's logo.

The Heat may have defeated Minnesota on Monday night to extend its winning streak to a franchise-record 15 games, but this video uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday is certainly a major win for the Crunch, Pekovic and the T-Wolves.
