Lose A Sock? Missing A Mitten? Tom Hanks Will Help!

The actor's Twitter feed reads like a lost and found page for orphaned gloves and other random things.

In case you hadn’t noticed, Tom Hanks’ Twitter feed has morphed into a rather random, though supremely charming lost and found page for miscellaneous items.

For over a year, Hanks has been tweeting photographs of lost items, accompanied by amusing musings and whimsical wonderings. 

It’s unclear if Hanks' posts have reunited anyone with their lost clothing, but last year, one of his tweets did help locate a college student who'd misplaced her ID

“I’m sitting in the library trying to get homework done, and I get an email with a link to Twitter that said ‘You’re famous,’” the student, identified only as Lauren, told “Good Morning America” in October.
