Beloved "Everwood" patriarch Treat Williams will be visiting NBC's "Chicago Fire" in the new year, according to TV Guide.
Williams will play Benny Severide, the father of Taylor Kinney's character, Kelly. Benny is described as a "tough guy who also used to work as a fireman," and TV Guide notes that father and son have had a tumultuous relationship in the past. He's tapped to appear in multiple episodes beginning January.
