Man Charged After Throwing Vomit-Filled Condoms At Security Guard

A 19-year-old man was charged with battery and disorderly conduct this weekend after throwing what were believed to be vomit-filled condoms at a security guard in Naperville.

Just before 2 a.m. on May 28, Naperville police met with a North Central College security officer, who had vomit-filled condoms thrown at him. The Naperville Sun reports:

The officer said he went to the area after receiving a phone call from a woman who identified herself as a student, [Naperville Police Sgt. Gregg] Bell said. The woman asked the security officer for an escort to another part of campus.

Bell said the officer arrived in his vehicle, which was then struck by at least one condom filled with an unidentified liquid, Bell said. The liquid had a "foul odor" about it and might have been vomit, he said.

Police traced the call to a student of the college, who told them Tyler Wilfley, 19, of Downs, Ill. told her to make the call. Wilfley was ultimately identified as the condom thrower as well.

The Daily Herald reports that Wilfley was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, battery and disorderly conduct. He is free on bail.
