U2's visit to Southern California this weekend coincided with a sad moment for the music industry, as Clarence Clemons, the saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, passed away on Saturday.

The Irish rock band counts among Clemons' grieving friends, who have been in suspense since the 69-year-old suffered a stroke last week. In a touching gesture at their concert in Anaheim on Saturday, U2 dedicated a performance of "A Moment of Surrender" to Clemons. Watch it here:
