Valerie Plame Calls For Transparency On Drones

Valerie Plame Wilson, the former CIA officer who was outed by Robert Novak in a 2003 Washington Post column and was the subject of the movie "Fair Game," joined HuffPost Live's Mike Sacks Wednesday to discuss drone warfare and government transparency.

"This administration has pledged to transparency and accountability and certainly after what my husband and I have been through with the leak of my name we're all about holding the government to account for their words and deeds," Plame said, adding that the "nature of warfare has changed profoundly."

"We know now that there is a possibility that [drones] will be used domestically," Plame added, citing the recently released letter by U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to Sen. Rand Paul which said drones could, under rare circumstances, be used against Americans on domestic soil.

Plame wrote a blog post for HuffPost earlier this week, titled "An Idea Whose Time Has Come," advocating for the elimination of nuclear weapons.
