Christians Walk The Way Of Suffering For Good Friday

The Via Dolorosa, or Way of Suffering, weaves its way through Jerusalem's Old City and is believed to be the path Jesus walked, carrying his cross, on the way to his crucifixion.

Many Christians mark Good Friday, the Friday before Easter Sunday, by participating in or watching processions meant to replicate Jesus' journey. Every year thousands of pilgrims from around the world journey to Jerusalem to walk in Jesus' footsteps.
